Quick Answer

  • Events are the real progression engine — speedups, officer resources, and gear come primarily from event rewards.
  • The flagship rhythm: Strongest Commander runs in week-long phased cycles (Frenzy and Void variants), with Void War landing roughly every four weeks.
  • The core skill is banking: save speedups, training batches, and building completions for the phase that scores them.
  • Weekly fixtures include Mother of Doom (boss) and Medici's Treasure (starts Mondays after reset, 24 hours).
  • Alliance and cross-nation events are team commitments — coordinate, don't freelance.

Why Events Matter More Than Everything Else

A day of quiet building earns you a day of progress. The same day executed inside the right event phases earns the progress plus event points plus milestone chests full of speedups and resources that fund your next push. Players who "do events" out-grow players who merely play — with identical spending. The entire skill is timing what you were going to do anyway.

The Flagship: Strongest Commander

A multi-day event split into daily phases — monster attacks, training, construction, research, kill phases — each scoring a different activity, and appearing in Frenzy and Void variants. This is the event your weekly rhythm should be built around: bank your speedups and big completions, then release them on the matching day. The complete phase strategy is in the Strongest Commander guide.

The Main Event: Void War

Roughly every four weeks, on the final day of the Strongest Void Commander cycle, Void War throws your nation against another in a 24-hour cross-nation kill event — cities level 20+ teleport into enemy territory, and points flow from killing enemy troops, with higher-tier kills worth more. It's widely considered the single most important event in the game, and it has its own dedicated guide.

Triangle War extends the format to a three-sided multi-alliance battle — same core skills, messier diplomacy.

The Weekly and Recurring Fixtures

Event Cadence What it is
Mother of Doom Weekly, Friday Boss event — full-army damage scoring (Doom's Iron Grip is the Tuesday twin)
Medici's Treasure Weekly, Monday after reset 24-hour dungeon crawl — zombie troops carry it
Triangle War Tournament seasons Three-sided alliance bracket — no real troop losses
Global Conquest Cross-server seasons Nation-vs-Nation Star Core battles
Capital War End of Nation Progress The Presidency — begins the Saturday a week after the final phase opens
Chaosland Before server merges Decides which nation's map survives; no troop losses
Brutal Drag Racing + Trials Recurring, 5 days Global team event — practice phase, then racing
Giant Cannon Defense Recurring, 2–3 days Global tower-defense minigame event
Alliance Bounty Monthly Alliance task event — show up for your tag; also the main faucet for officer equipment and warplane materials
Mysterious Island Recurring Decoration-leveling event with stat bonuses

Alliance ladders run alongside all of this — Elite Wars gives every alliance two 45-minute battles a week. The full day-by-day pattern — including the Strongest Commander phase-order rules — is in the event schedule guide. Exact rotations shift with updates, so check the in-game event pane at each Monday reset and plan the week from there.

The Banking Mindset

The habit that separates event players from everyone else:

  1. Speedups are event currency. Never spend them casually — spend them in the phase that scores them. This applies to building, training, research, and healing speedups alike.
  2. Hold completions. A Main Hall or big research at 95% is a scoring asset — release it on the right phase day, as noted in the building and research guides.
  3. Batch your training. Queue heavy troop training to complete inside training phases — tier and volume both count, per troop types and tiers.
  4. Heal after kill events, during healing phases where possible — even your losses can score.

Participation Rules of Thumb

  • Milestones over rank, for most players. Chasing leaderboard rank against spenders is expensive; clearing every milestone chest is efficient. Rank-chase only where you're genuinely competitive.
  • Kill events are opt-in violence. If you're not scoring, you're someone else's points — shield through what you can't win, per PvP basics.
  • Alliance events are commitments. Rally slots, bounty tasks, and war phases only work when members show up — the social contract from the alliance guide applies double during events.
