Age of Origins Intimacy Guide: Lucy & Saya Questions and Answers
The Lucy and Saya intimacy system explained: unlocking it via the Biochemical Lab, verified question answers, gift strategy, and the zombie troops payoff.

Quick Answer
- Intimacy is the Lucy and Saya system, tied to the Biochemical Lab: heal the two infected characters, and at stage 12 of healing the intimacy game unlocks.
- Raise intimacy by answering their questions — a correct answer pays bonus points (50, doubled to 2×50 after a later update) — and by sending gifts.
- The endgame payoff is the Biochemical line itself: tech points and ultimately Zombie Troops, your own trainable horde.
- Verified answers below — Lucy's are personality/story questions, Saya's are lore and science.
- Answer lists circulate publicly (even the official Facebook page has reposted one), so there's no shame in using a cheat sheet. That's what this is.
What the Intimacy System Actually Is
Deep in the Biochemical Lab storyline, you spend resources healing two infected survivors — Lucy and Saya — back toward humanity. It's one of the game's stranger and more memorable subplots: your reward for the medical campaign is a relationship mini-game where the two ask you questions, and answering correctly shows you were paying attention.
Mechanically, healing progresses in stages, and stage 12 unlocks the intimacy game. From there, two levers raise intimacy:
- Conversations. Each character asks questions; correct answers pay bonus points — originally 50 per correct answer, doubled by a later update. Answering a character's full story set correctly pays a prize on top.
- Gifts. Intimacy gift items (they appear in packs and as event rewards — "Send Gifts to the Infected" shows up as an Alliance Bounty scoring category) accelerate the grind. Free players can climb on conversations and event-earned gifts alone; it's just slower.
Why bother? Because the Biochemical line pays out in tech points and, ultimately, Zombie Troops — the game lets you weaponize the apocalypse and field your own undead, with biochemical material produced from your dead troops. It's simultaneously the darkest system in the game and a real combat asset.
Lucy: Verified Answers
Lucy's questions lean personal — her past, her recovery, your shared history:
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Can I do my old job again? | Do you mean being a nurse? |
| Do you know who made me like this? | Yourself |
| Do you still remember the place where we met for the first time? | City |
| Do you still remember what I first said after I recovered my intellect? | Pain… |
| Do zombies have dreams? | Yes |
| Guess what I can control? | Zombie Troops |
Saya: Verified Answers
Saya's questions skew toward lore and science:
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Do I have any natural antibodies against the virus? | Yes |
| Do you know what is my daily hobby? | Reading |
| Does my body have other toxins? | Yes |
| How do you know my identity? | Research Uniform |
| How often does the Nemesis throw asteroids towards the Sun? | 26 million years |
Honest scope note: these are the cross-verified pairs; the full question pools are longer, and new questions arrive with updates. When you hit one not listed here, the pattern usually carries you — Lucy's answers track her nurse backstory and your shared history, Saya's track her researcher identity and the game's Nemesis lore. Get one wrong and the world doesn't end; the bonus points do.
Strategy Notes
- Answer before you gift. Question bonuses are free points; gifts are a finite resource. Exhaust the free lever first.
- Bank gifts for bounty windows. Since gifting the infected scores in Alliance Bounty, the banking rule applies here like everywhere else — same gift, twice the value, sent during the event.
- Treat the Biochemical Lab as a long project, not a sprint. The healing stages are resource-hungry, and the Zombie Troops payoff is a late-game multiplier — sequence it after your core army and research foundations, in the same spirit as Titans.
- Check answers against your own game. Question sets have changed before (the point-doubling update proves the system gets touched); if an answer here ever mismatches, trust the in-game result and the pattern logic above.
